How do I install Volga Panels™?
Installation of Volga Panels™ are quick and easy. Please refer to our installation page to view our instructions sheet. Your product will arrive with the instructions included.
Can Volga Panels™ be installed on ceilings?
Yes! Volga Panels™ can be installed on ceilings. Ensure you use the right type of fixings for ceilings installations. If using adhesives you must use high strength grab adhesives. For a firmer hold, you could screw the panels onto battens or structural points such as joists.
Can Volga Panels™ be used in bathrooms and kitchens?
Yes, Volga Panels™ are waterproof and moisture-proof making it suitable for bathrooms and kitchens. Please ensure you use water-resistant grab adhesives when installing.
How do I cut Volga Panels™?
Volga Panels™ can be cut simply by using a fine-toothed wood saw. Power-tools can also be used to cut the panels, however excess power and heat from the blades of power tools could result in splintering of the edges. Therefore, if using power tools please ensure the cut/plunge is made quickly.
Can Volga Panels™ be used horizontally?
Yes, Volga Panels™ can be installed either vertically or horizontally. The fitting methods for both remains the same.
Can Volga Panels™ be installed near a stove/heat source?
We recommend the panels to be installed at least 45cm away from a direct heat source such as stoves/burners.
Can I paint Volga Panels™?
Yes, Volga Panels™ are paintable. Please ensure you use a paint suitable for composites.
Can Volga Panels™ be used outside?
Yes, Volga Panels™ are waterproof and weatherproof making it suitable for exterior use. For outdoor installation we recommend using small screws to attach the panels onto walls, alternatively you could use outdoor grade/water resistant grab adhesives.
Can Volga Panels™ be used as external cladding?
Yes, however please keep in mind that Volga Panels™ are primarily used as a decorative feature for aesthetic purposes meaning that they are not to be used as structural alternatives but rather as decorative cladding. If you are using Volga Panels™ for external cladding ensure the substrate wall is fire-retardant and as these panels are not fire-rated.
